But whether you need telesales reps, inside sales reps, or customer service reps, it’s especially difficult to find people who not only possess the unique skills of selling exclusively over the phone, but who also have the personality to thrive in that environment. So who is this mysterious inside sales star? How can you find and identify those reps that will succeed in your unique environment?
Hiring Excellence is a two-day program designed to ensure hiring managers can quantify the sales or service DNA that is required to succeed in your environment as well as develop the methodology, skills, and tools to effectively recruit and assess each candidate. The following is a brief overview of each module.
Creating the Bulls Eye
Since 1989, Aslan has assessed thousands of reps to determine the DNA of those individuals who have the unique ability to sell in a call center or inside sales organization. The result is a comprehensive list of characteristics organized around four essential categories that determine capability- Character, Competency, Career Fit, and Cultural.
At the end of this first module, participants will be able to create the exact profile of the ideal candidate vs. doing what most hiring managers do- asking the same questions over and over again without understanding the characteristics that determine success.
Great Candidates Have Choices
Now that a target of the ideal candidate has been established, the next step is to develop a recruiting strategy that ensures you attract the most talented candidates whose options are numerous. More specifically, participants will learn creative strategies for finding qualified candidates, and the keys to differentiating the career opportunity and your organization as best and unique.
Use the Phone Not the Resume
All too often, organizations have a very poor process in place to assess a candidate’s ability to sell or serve over the phone. In this module, Aslan provides hiring managers with a proven three-step hiring methodology that utilizes the phone vs. applications/resumes and ultimately reduces hiring time by two-thirds as well as greatly increases hiring accuracy.
The Interview
Lastly, managers will develop questioning skills, strategies, and a six-step interview process to ensure they can get behind the mask and accurately uncover the candidates’ true character, competency, career fit, and cultural fit. |
